It has been a busy time here with visitors for most of September and into October. Just as things started to settle down a neighbour asked us to look after their 2 young goats for a week. 2 weeks on and they are still here.
Then Eeyore, the donkey collapsed. He had been losing weight and stiff in his back legs. He was unable to get back up but he still had a good appetite although I had to sit with him while he ate so the goats didn’t eat his food.
Yesterday he stopped eating and early evening he past away.
Hopefully now things will settle and happier posts will follow.
