Yesterday was a bit of a worry as when I took food down to the mother dog, the den was empty. She has eaten the food left the evening before.
As I put food down in hope she is still around, she appeared from the terrace above, making her usual noise.
As she went to eat breakfast I went up to see if I could find the puppies. She immediately came up barking and stood guard in the grass to the left.
So as not to distress her, I left.
Today we are still feeding in the usual place and she has been up to the house for food as well.
Not seen the puppies but it looks as if she has moved then into a safer place.
